无意中来到上面这个名叫“欲望上海”(Sex and Shanghai) 的博客(
http://chinabounder.blogspot.com)。博客的副标题是：在上海的西方恶棍的自白 （“Western Scoundrel in Shanghai Tells All”）。博主是一个网名叫Chinabound的英格兰人，现在在上海某个大学教英文（似乎是上外，但我不确定）。该博客的基本主旨是炫耀博主如何（利用外国人的身份）玩弄他班上的中国女学生的肉体和感情，顺便不时的嘲讽中国政府和中国男人的愚蠢无能。

A=JPmsj. 事情开始变得有点儿意思起来了。英国无赖Chinabound在他自己的博客里对我的留言进行了回复。这斯的自欺欺人让我有点儿哭笑不得。他先否认自己看不起中国人，假惺惺地说，他的生活在这儿。他所有的朋友都是当地人，在许多方面中国是一个美好的，令人激动的国家。接着又说但是他对中国也有批评，而他并不掩饰这种批评云云。他自以为对中国四九年以后的历史知道得比我还多，并说中国总体上是一个民族主义国家，有太多的傲慢，却又缺乏真正的骄傲，一方面自称爱国，另一方面又把自己的国家当成垃圾桶，云云。为了平衡以及显得自己有忏悔精神，无赖顺便也历数了以下大英帝国过去犯下的种种罪过，然后说当然，这不是讨论主题。
A=JPmsj. A=JPmsj. 话锋一转，无赖开始为自己的罪行狡辩。他说他尊重我愤怒的权利，并欣慰的看到我并没有因此就说“如果不喜欢中国就滚回老家”之类幼稚的话。他承认自己的行为算不上高尚。但否认我关于“强奸犯”的指控，说这等小事哪能算得上强奸，又振振有词的说这世上根本没有我说的“上帝仁慈”一说，上帝是虚构的，认为有上帝的人都是傲慢的和自欺欺人的。看到这里我实在忍不住笑了。想起“掩耳盗铃”的故事，一边作恶，一点念叨着：世上没有上帝，没有上帝，说有上帝的人都是自欺欺人。其实自欺欺人的是无赖自己。好像这就能让自己逃脱上帝的惩罚。
A=JPmsj. A=JPmsj. 还有更绝的，该无赖要求我慎用“Sin”(罪恶)一词。他承认自己的所谓并不高尚，但是也算不上罪恶。并说真正的罪恶诸如是“你的”政//府向世人隐瞒非碘疫情，导致疫情扩散到香港，以至全球其他地方无辜者丧命云云。然后又说那其实并非“你的”政府，而是一群窃取了人民权力的骗子和暴君。
A=JPmsj. A=JPmsj. 在对我进行了西方民主说教以后，无赖最后提请我注意，那篇我留言的博客所涉及的女子 - Mona - 其实完全知道自己在和谁交往。他们已经不是情人了，但仍然是好朋友，相互之间很少有秘密。又说，自己很快会找机会把这个博克的存在告诉Mona。无赖说了，我和Mona只见的关系比你想得要诚实和直接。那意思，我没欺骗她，都是她自愿的。

All my friends are local people, and warm, generous, loving and giving people they are too. In many ways China is a wonderful, exciting country.

I know, without a doubt, that I am better informed about the history of China since 1949 than you are. China is an overly nationalist nation, with too much arrogance yet (and this is an interesting paradox) not enough pride. Chinese people claim to love their country, but treat it like a waste bin, for example.

And when it comes to history, my country has been one of the most corrupt and evil there is. As I expect you know, the UK brought extensive pain and misery to China. This is something ‘we’ have never apologized for, and barely teach in schools.

A sin, if you must use the word, would be something like the Chinese government’s decision to lie about the SARS outbreak a couple of years ago. That lie let the disease spread to Hong Kong and thence around the world. People across the globe died because ‘your’ government lied. (But of course they are not really ‘your’ government at all – they are, rather, a gang of crooks and cheats who have simply seized power and treat the Chinese people with all the arrogance and contempt of any emperor.)

A=JPmsj. 这样的博客，广大愤青们看了，大概又要引出“中国人民不可辱，洋鬼子滚出中国”，以及“贱女人自甘堕落丢尽国格”之类口号。说实话，我一开始看了以后也很不舒服。甚至想要打电话报警，凭借该博客中的许多批评中国文化和政府的内容，所谓的“有关部门”完全可以对他这个教书的穷老外采取点措施。至少可以关闭他的博客，吓唬吓唬他。后来转念一想，其实让更多的人看看也好。知道自己在别人心目中是是什么样的。总比闭目塞听夜郎自大要好吧？在外国人的西方人无一例外的笑容可掬风度翩翩并无比热爱中国人民及其可爱的文化，其实你相信吗？这个Chinabound虽然粗俗，却也真实。许多批评的话虽不入耳，却也可以敲打一下许多国人麻木的心。久居鲍嗣而不闻其臭。中国人对自己文化的丑陋一面的安之若素和缺乏反省精神也许只有通过这样的敲打才会觉得有点疼？

Mixed with its stiff-necked pride is a pervasive victim mentality. All China’s woes are blamed on others, from the Western countries’ invasion of China in the 19thC and the Japanese in the second world war to perceived discrimination today from ‘the West.’

The truth is that China savages itself, rips and wounds itself; all China’s ills are inflicted by its government, its organizations and institutions. How can they admit that since 1949 their own government has brought them nothing but misery, murder and death? That they and no-one else are to blame for their woes?

Chinese people, in general, know nothing about their society and are simply not interested in finding out. For example, I have asked 50 people in the last week what is happening at Shengda University. Not one knew. They simply do not care, are not interested in finding out. Eyes shut, blindness all the way. Each country gets the government it deserves.
